Protecteon is parental control app that works in parallel with Wild - a browser app for your child to use to browse the Internet. Protecteon is the app a parent uses to monitor and control what they want their child to see online, and Wild is the app the parent installs on their child’s device for the child to use to browse the Internet (Safari is disabled on the childs device using Apple Restrictions, to ensure they use Wild).

YOU HAVE CONTROL
-------------------------------
With Protecteon and Wild, you have complete control of what your child sees and does not see on the Internet. You will also be able to see a LIVE log of every page your child has viewed, every search query they have typed into Google, and every page that has been blocked by one or more of the rules you have configured.

NOTE: WILD CANNOT BE INSTALLED AND ACTIVATED ON YOUR CHILD’S DEVICE WITHOUT HAVING A PARENT ACCOUNT WITHIN THE PROTECTEON APP - INSTALLED ON YOUR DEVICE.

WORKS WHEREVER YOUR CHILDREN ARE
--------------------------------------------------------------
Protecteon and Wild are different from other ‘filtering’ solutions which filter the content coming through your home Internet connection - Protecteon and Wild work NO MATTER WHICH INTERNET CONNECTION YOUR CHILD IS CONNECTED TO... Whether your child is out and about using 3G/4G to surf the Internet, or on the free WiFi at a local café, you have complete control, all of the time, wherever you are!

BLOCK SITES
--------------------
You can configure rules for which sites are ALLOWED and block everything else (Allow mode), or you can configure rules for which sites are BLOCKED and allow everything else (Block mode). You can also configure keywords to block (on top of the Allow/Block mode) to filter and check websites and individual web pages to see if they cause a hit against your list of blocked keywords. If they do, they are blocked and you are notified. Site Blocking and Keyword Blocking require a child licence, available through an in-app purchase (see Standard and Licenced Features below).

“Protecteon and Wild work together to keep your child safe on the Internet, wherever they are.”

GOOGLE & YOUTUBE SAFE SEARCH
------------------------------------------------------
Internet searches in Wild are locked-down to Google - you will enable and lock ‘Google SafeSearch’ (and YouTube Restricted Mode) when installing Wild on your child’s device. This removes adult content from all Internet searches. Or if you choose, you could configure Wild in Allow Mode and remove Google from the Allow List. This will mean your child can ONLY view the sites that you choose to add to the Allow List.

BLOCKING OF ADULT SITES
------------------------------------------
Wild will also, by default, block any pages that are classified as RTA (Restricted To Adult) or ones that cause a hit against any of the default blocked keywords within Protecteon. "Porn" or "gambling" for example! And because Protecteon shows you a LIVE log of every page your child has viewed, you can review this log and block any sites you feel have slipped through the net by touching a Block button next to the item in the log.

STANDARD AND LICENCED FEATURES
---------------------------------------------------------
Protecteon is full of advanced features for you to configure. These features enable you to ensure your child is safe online and monitor everything they are looking at, block anything you feel is inappropriate and have full control. Some features come with Protecteon as standard, but some features are only available for ‘licensed child accounts’ through an In-App Purchase. See www.protecteon.com/about for a list of which features come as standard and which require a child licence through an in-app purchase.
